08AM-11:00AM: Spice Farm Tour
Our Driver will pick you up from hotel at around 8 am after breakfast and drive back to stone town, in this tour you will start with Spice Tour
First step, you will visit the spice farm,it takes about 2 hours walking through the farm, see zanzibar spices, you will know their uses in different foods, in medicine uses, and discover why zanzibar is called the Spice Island. At the end of this tour, you will taste the different tropical fruits such as bananas, oranges, pineapples, mangoes and others.
11:00PM - 15:30PM:Prison Island Tour
after spice farm tour then heading direct to the stone town, after that take a boat ride from Stone Town, straight to the illustrious historic prison of Changuu Island, known commonly as Prison Island. Explore the ancient prison ruins which were erected by the British colony of Zanzibar.
Then, visit a sanctuary for Aldabra tortoises – one of the largest tortoises in the world, weighing up to 200 kilos, also known to be one of the longest-living creatures in the world. Learn about these giant land tortoises that were brought to Zanzibar from Seychelles.
Also spot peacocks with large and brilliant feathers which have made them the symbol of beauty, royalty, and good fortune for Prison Island. Interact with these amazing creatures and take pictures.
At the end of the tour , you will get back on the boat and sail you off to Stone Town.
15:30PM - 17:30PM: Stone Town City Tour
Stone Town it’s the historical sites which show us the dates back in 19th century with influencing of different cultures as Arabs, Persian, Indian and European culture, Stone town was declared officially by UNESCO as world heritage sites since 2000, Some tours highlights are Darajani Market, Slave Market Site, House of Wonders and many others, Also you will visit the stone town shops selling local souvenirs after ending tour in stone town, backing to your hotel.
